Yesterday I clicked over to 200 km. So thankful for your support. So thankful that Sick Kids arranges this wonderful fundraiser which enables us to help the children and add valuable research to the cancer knowledge base. Thankful to be able to ride. I will keep biking until the end of the month. Again thanks to all my supports. God willing I will be back for Year 10.
Wild, windy and sunny! Beautiful day but I got buffered by wind on my ride. My busy day started with escorting Evie to Harrison Park to meet up with Events for Life. What an absolutely wonderful place. We had 2 walks. Home to get Geoff’s lunch and then out to ride. Meeting up with a great friend later this afternoon. Also want catch up some procrastinated tasks. Good day!
Great ride this morning. The clouds looked threatening but got in 9.7 km. An hour later the heavens opened. Only 25km to go to 200km. Thanks for all the support!
Encouraged by Tour de France for women, I biked 13km today but in over 50 minutes- a few visits along the way. I will never match the true cyclist who did 6 km in 7minutes 25 seconds.
Cyclist are tough athletes. The kids we are supporting are also tough and resilient. I admire each and every one of them and their families.
Enjoy the day!
Started out early today to beat the heat. It was a fabulous ride.
Well that was a warm ride. Another wonderful summer day. Enjoy.
Great to start my ride this year on the Georgian Trail with my sister-in- law, Linda who is visiting from Australia.
