    So, about August 14th!

THANK YOU! Thank you to EVERYONE that has donated to my Great Cycle Challenge Canada ride so far, raising money for SickKids Foundation to help kids fight Cancer!

Wednesday was “Kick Cancer's Butt Day” and a record-breaking $1,939,643 was raised to fight kids' cancer! Wonderful supporters, the Garron Family were personally matching donations up to $1,300,000... so that means all donations Wednesday received a 67.02% match in donations! WOW, that means yesterday riders across Canada and the Garron Family helped raise $3,239,643!!!

Thanks to those who not only donated Wednesday, getting there donations topped up another 67%, but to those anonymous donations, and to those donating again, well... we are known as the “double double” nation after all! Thank you so much!

As you can see by my statistics on here, I'm already past half way for my fundraising goal, and... believe it or not, I'm at 33% of my ride goal!! So where to from here? I'll do my best to get closer to my ride goal, or to matching km for dollars, but a fella has to sleep and work!! HOW DID I MANAGE to ride 1,008 km in 2019? Well, I was 5 years younger! LOL! I should look back, maybe I took a month off work!

Thank you again, and if you haven't donated yet, please do so... the kids need your help!

Check out the video below, it's a fun 3D video look back at my first official ride for the Great Cycle Challenge Canada on August 1st, the longest ride I’ve done in a long time, the one where I shot off into space, so far past Pluto I had to stop to recharge. Seriously!

666 is in reference to the distance I travelled 66.6 billion kilometres, return! Wait that can't be right, Pluto is only 15 billion kilometres return! Okay fine, it was only 66.6 kilometres, I passed through a worm hole, you see it in the video, when the trajectory just shoots off in to space!

You have to watch this, I've watched it a few times and it makes me laugh when it gets to that moment where I just shoot off into what seems like nowhere, you start to wonder if I'll stop... do my breaks work, and then POW, I turn that baby around and head home pedalling like a crazy man! LOL!

And don't forget to donate to my challenge, if you haven't already, maybe I'll go back out in to space to finish the ride off! Anyone care to join me?

    Half way there...
