Smokey conditions today but got out at 6am to beet the Okanagan heat, continueing to build on the success of the rides. Doing it for the kids is the motivation as always.
Took the day off from riding to go to a celebration of life for a family member who died of cancer, so it hit close to home but tommrow I will get some extra ride time in.
Today I had to run chores so any I could ride my bike I did. I had to drop my car at a shop, so I put my bike in the trunk and rode it home and back when I picked it up, and then I did a lap of my normal route. Im 1 day ahead of my 500 km for the month so lots more work to do, it for the kids and they motivate me to do my best
The start of the ride always is one of remembrance of who I started riding for.
The good that helping kids fight cancer is always a great fight to help out with.
