But, Cancer hit our family once again when just recently our son was diagnosed with this horrible disease.
He recently underwent surgery and is on his way, hopefully, to a full recovery.
The shock of having your own child diagnosed is horrific. It shakes your world in every way.
There are no words to truly express what the family, and especially the parents of a child, deal with when one hears those words "the results were positive" - that doesn't mean positive in a good way, but positive that you are critically ill.
