    Day 22

The Great Cycle Challenge has always been more than just a bike ride for me—it's a commitment to fight kids' cancer. In honour of Adam Fedsoff a childhood friend who fought the good fight along with This year, we are riding for our superhero Hallie-Lynn, with 33km of the 50km ride now behind us, the journey has been nothing short of amazing! We send prayers today to little miss Hallie who went in for more scans!

    The Ride So Far

Every night Tate comes home and asks to ride his bike! Although he is 2 and half and doesn’t fully grasp the concept he knows he is riding for a purpose and it’s not without a smile on his face as mom and dad try and keep up with him on foot!

    Reaching 33km: A Milestone

Hitting 33km was a significant milestone. It’s more than halfway through the challenge, and every ride brings us closer to the finish line. But more importantly, it reaffirmed our belief in the power of determination and purpose. The sense of accomplishment was immense, but it also came with a deep sense of responsibility. There’s still more to go, but knowing that each kilometer makes a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer keeps us motivated.

    What’s Next?

With 17km left to complete, we continue to build the excitement of riding and share the cause! The final stretch, we are ready for it. I ask that we channeling all the strength, support, and love for the families and children going through the childhood cancer!

The Great Cycle Challenge has shown me that when we ride together for a cause greater than ourselves, every kilometer becomes a testament to hope, resilience, and the power of community.

I’m riding not just to complete 50km, but to honor and celebrate Hallie-Lynn and all the children who inspire us to keep going, no matter how tough the journey gets. Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far—your encouragement means the world.

Stay tuned for the final update, and if you’re considering joining or supporting the Great Cycle Challenge, I can’t recommend it enough. Together, we can make a real difference in the fight against kids' cancer.

  • Day 1-3 Weekend Adventure
    3 Aug 2024

This weekend, Tatem has taken on many trails and hills in the campgrounds: he has completed a total of 9km for the cycling challenge for days 1-3! In small spurts of 2-4km to raise money for childhood cancer research! It has and will continue to be an adventure filled with discovery, fun, and a few well-deserved

Our first stop was by the lake where we encountered a family of ducks. Tatem was fascinated by them, watching intently as they glided across the water and dabbled for food. It was a beautiful moment of connection with nature and a perfect opportunity to take a short break.

Refreshed from our cooling dunk, we continued our journey. The last few kilometers were a test of endurance, but Tatem and friends spirit was unwavering. His joy and determination are incredible to watch

Stay tuned as we work towards 50km. My son had completed the distance with enthusiasm and a smile, making it a truly memorable experience for both of us.

    A Special Thanks

Thank you for sponsoring and following along on our great cycle challenge. Your support means a lot and will impact the lives of many little fighters battling childhood cancer!
