Well, started out with good intentions but my husband (of the Speedy Smiths Team) ended up with a flat tire and despite the pumping, was a no-go. I did 8.4 and he did 4.2 despite the bad ending. One week to go. 32 km left.
We decided to start at a park on the Woodstock Road and head towards the Fredericton Airport. It was a hot, streamy day and at the end of 32 km, we were pretty tuckered out. It was a lovely ride however and even came across a lady just beginning her Ride for the Kids
You can’t beat this ride—2nd day on the island and starting to get momentum towards the 150 km for the kids! Beautiful morning!
We began our ride in PEI. We love the trails and the scenery is to die for! If you haven’t tried the ride here, please do! Riding for the Kids is so fulfilling!
