Took my last ride this morning, in support of SickKids! A beautiful day, sun was shining and it was much cooler making for a comfortable ride 🚲 A huge thank you to everyone who has supported my efforts this month, to those cheering me on, riding with me, and contributing financially to the cause. A shoutout to my Dad for providing the Gatorade to keep me energized on my rides!
I didn’t get much biking done over the last five days as I explored Manitoulin Island. A grand total of 11 km, as I biked to Loco Beanz to get my morning coffee each day ☕️ Did a lot of hiking on trails and the escarpment, experienced a Dark Sky area and walking behind waterfalls. So much fun 🤩
Very hot today, but still had a wonderful ride down to Port Dover. Met up with friends on Callahan’s beach patio for lunch. Starting to realize that ice cream is playing a key role in my biking adventures this summer, stopped at Pickards on the way home for a cup of Kawartha’s Moose Tracks. Yum 😋
