Goals Being SMASHED!!

Longest cycle ride of my life (so far), 61 KM, check and my personal goal of 300 KM complete! Nora's jersey came today, too (I figured I'd gift it to her since I already have one), what perfect timing. 😉

Team Miles to Kick Childhood Cancer's Butt has surpassed their individual and collective KM goal with a whopping 741 KM.

We are at $1401.20 of our collective $1500 goal, so $99 away from achieving that.

*Update: received a generous $100 donation and we have now reached our team fundraising goal!* 😃

Kick Cancers' Butt Day - A HUGE Success thanks to YOU!! <3

...Drumroll please!!!!

In a mere 24 hours, I have managed to surpass my individually set fundraising goal for Great Cycle Challenge Canada, sitting now at $505! This likely would not have been seen without the generousity of the Garron family who matched donations up to a certain amount for 'Kick Cancer's Butt Day' yesterday.

As a team, we are sitting at 74% of our collective fundraising goal, $1103/$1500 (pretty wild, too)!

My Mamabear Judy Tompkins is kicking butt and could use some support meeting her individual fundraising goal, and same with my niece, Heather Baskerville (Nora Morin)! ❤

This August, Miles to Kick Childhood Cancer's Butt! is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So we are raising funds through our challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
