The Great Cycle Challenge is a fundraiser to support SickKids Foundation, specifically their cancer research projects. I participated in the challenge last year, riding 1,500 km in one month and raising over $2,500. I was, and still am, blown away by this generosity but I wasn't going to participate again this year because it was a major pain in the butt (literally, not figuratively). I changed my mind because a friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer recently and I was reminded of the value of this cause. I only hope that my effort, as part of a very large effort, makes a difference. Thank you for your support.
