My Story

This August, for the sixth year in a row, I am participating in the Great Cycle Challenge, to support SickKids Foundation and help fight kids’ cancer!

All funds raised will support SickKids Foundation in providing care, developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancers. My goal is to ride 500km and raise $1000!

    “While stopped at a red light at the intersection between MacDonald Drive and Torbay Road, a motorist next to me rolled down his window and asked if I was raising money to fight kids' cancer. I replied that I was - and without hesitating, he handed me $20 out of his window, and shouted "be safe!" The light turned green and I completed the final five kilometers of my ride, and also my sixth Great Cycle Challenge for SickKids Foundation. The kindness of strangers is incredible. A moment I will definitely remember, and one of the best parts of this challenge for sure.”
