I'm Riding For

We aren't 100% sure what got my dad in the end but we are certain lung cancer was involved. As a child my father was one of the lucky ones to survive Polio and not need an iron lung but his lungs were never the same. He taught me how to ride a bike. He was there when I rode a bike way too big for me into the tail lights of a friends dads truck and when we were all riding bikes down a flight of stairs and a friend broke my training wheels off before one of my attempts. Throughout my life he bought me many bikes and made sure to have one at his house for me to ride when I visited. I miss him dearly. Young or old cancer is horrible and does not discriminate. So lets work together on kicking cancers ass for these kids so they can live long happy fulfilled lives.
