Hopefully, I reach the minimum goal set by Great Cycle Challenge Canada this year. My attempt will be pathetic so if you don't like my content but want to contribute to the cause then find another rider! HPMT!!

This year, let's ride to lake simcoe. I will focus my ride on the York region lake to lake route traveling northbound.

I finished riding the requested minimum distance like 2 days ago. Please note that I stopped measuring distance with map and ruler on that date and just did guesstimate distance.

You will just have to take my words that I did ride 75 km during the month of August 2021.

I can ride and travel the distance but I have difficulty raising fund.

I believe riding the bicycle outdoor is great for your body. We are made to move, sweat and breath.

August 20, 2021 update below:

During my first ride of the 2021 campaign, I pleasantly learned something about my alarm (which rings at 7:10 am every working day). It rang again today but I was happy to hear it because I knew exactly what time it was. It then counted for me at 5 mins intervals on snooze. The alarm sounded so much more pleasant today because it served a different function.

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
