I ride for my mother Joan, for my father Victor who was a survivor of cancer, for my stepmother Marianne, and for my friend Larry (the Lion) who is a survivor of three separate forms of cancer.

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

YOU ARE AMAZING, and I can’t tell you home much I admire you for helping kick cancer’s butt. I had the easy part, hop on my bike and ride a bit – you all had to give up you hard earned money and I thank you. Just to show you how much I appreciate it, and since you all beat my fundraising goal, I made sure I beat my Km goal too … You were part of the $6,792,032 we raised to fight kids' cancer – and that is incredible.
