My Story

This is YEAR 5, let's GOOOOOOO!!

Hello dear family, friends, supporters both old and new,

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

How it Works:

All participants set a distance goal and a fundraising goal. This year, my goal is to ride 1000 kilometres between August 1 to 31. To give you some perspective, the straight line distance from Vancouver to San Francisco is under 1,300 kilometres. Over the last 4 years, generous supporters like you have donated over $27,000.00 in support of me and the cause. That's an average of $6,750/year. Let's see if we can surpass that this year by hitting $7,000.00.

And you know what? Today (Wednesday, August 14th, 2024) is the official Kick Cancer's Butt Day where every dollar you give will be doubled! The doubling is only happening today (until 11:59 p.m PST).
