Dolores Wilmshurst
Dolores rode for her mom, Mary Eavis, who died of cervical cancer at the age of 57 years. She was an incredible woman who had so much to offer the world and she died too young. Dolores lost her battle with cancer in May. We (Deanna and Alina, her daughters) will ride in honour of her and finish the great cycle challenge for her.
My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Great Night for a Bike Ride to the Beach
9 Aug 2024What a spectacular night for a bike ride! We started on the Bisset Trail tonight. Yes, we climbed the hill where the old rehab centre once stood. That was way more fun on the way back! LOL. We followed the Salt Marsh Trail & the Atlantic View Trail to Lawrencetown Beach. Then we returned to the car.
