My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Two more days! Il reste deux jours!
30 Jul 2024Two more days until the beginning of my 300 km! Deux jours avant le début de mes 300 km.
Pour ma préparation je ferai une grande marche avec les pitous! Je participe aussi à quelques cours de ballet les soirs cette semaine! Mon prochain tours de bicyclette sera bel et bien le premier août! À moins que Zachary insiste pour aller faire un petit tours ensemble mercredi :) j’ai passer devant l’hôpital Sick Kids par hazard lors de mon passage à Toronto hier et j’ai tout de suite pensé à mon challenge. Difficile de penser qu’il y a des enfants malade a l’intérieur et qui souffrent de longue maladie comme le cancer! Je me demande maintenant si c’était vraiment par hazard d’avoir passé directement devant l’hôpital pour enfant. Peut-être que non, je pense par contre qu’en temp normal je n’y aurais même pas porté attention!
My prep today will be a long walk with the pups. I also signed for a ballet intensive in TO. I ended up skipping class as I did not give myself enough time for parking and walking to class so I gave up on going to class… spent lots of my time in the car. Interestingly, I drove by Sick Kids hospital who is at the heart of this challenge and all of a sudden I was reminded of my challenge and felt like maybe it was meant to be after all! It is hard to believe that inside that particular building some children fight the big fight against cancer. Heading back into the big city again tonight and am wondering if I would have even noticed the Sick Kids hospital so close to my ballet classes had I not been doing this fundraiser?
