My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

FRIDAY ride
30 Aug 2024Yesterday i received via UPS the Cycle Challenge Shirt. I never believed that i could raise for this Initiative that much of funds. Simply Wow. I told my daughter what this initiative is about and how privilidged we are to be healthy. Helping others feels just amazing.
I showed her my Shirt and told her proudly: "Today i wear it for the first time and I make sure i remember every second during the cycling ride how lucky we are and how much good the money raised between all the Sponsors will do".
I took a Selfie with my Shirt on.
I am proud of the result of the outcome.
Its crunch time. 2 more days to go for this month.
Fun fact Sienna decided to Sponsor me with some of her own money.

Saturday Morning Surprise <3
24 Aug 2024I woke up today and noticed that I have reached the 500 USD mark.
What a wonderful surprise.
This made me think of how many great initiatives there are out there and what else we can do in general for the greater good. Being able to move and live a normal life seems so normal to all of us.
But for others that are fighting cancer this privilege seems like heaven on Earth.
It’s also family members that are struggling to keep moving forward and take every day as it comes with all the ups and downs.
Lets keep on making the difference together.
I will try to pack my Agenda this upcoming week with more Indoor Cycling Sessions to share with all of you how I am kicking cancer’s B.. !

FRIDAY Morning Ride
23 Aug 2024This week was different from other weeks.
Putting in the work and sticking to the original plan isn't always what happens in life. There are many distractions and things happen that makes you recalibrate plans and actions. I thought I wouldn't make it today. But coming to my morning Spinning class and locking in my 10 miles in 40 mins is a small goal achieved.
Helping others and using your voice for a good cause is something I am personally proud of.

August 8th 2024, How its going so far.
8 Aug 2024This is me yesterday driving to the Spinning Studio I visit. Miami traffic can be challenging at times. But with the right music and some patience I arrived just in time :) .
It's not easy to commit to a schedule at times. This initiative gives me the opportunity to help others and especially help kids. I think helping itself and using your voice for a good cause is already something. I hope I can reach my goal and I can inspire others to join this initiative.
