My Story

Next month, I will be riding in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

As some of you know, I’ve been dealing with a foot injury since last October and can’t use my foot without significant pain. This is why I have set my goal to ride 150 KM.

Did you know that over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year in Canada? My 150km challenge will be tough with my foot issue, but it's nothing compared to what these brave kids face every day battling this terrible disease.

Like many of you, I have lost family members to cancer. Fortunately, my family members were able to have childhoods and were able to live 60 years of life or more. I couldn’t imagine what these children with cancer and their families go through.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
