My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Who I’m riding for….
15 Aug 2025My cousin Alan had 2 very special women in his life who are no longer with him and us.💔
His wife Sandy and his daughter Dana, we miss you.😘
I am also riding for Sandy’s sister Michelle, whose partner Ian Mackenzie asked me to remember her. Coincidentally I’ve gotten to know Ian through my work. Small world!
I just learned one of my friend’s wife is now battling cancer too. This is an ugly disease at any age especially children who don’t understand what’s going on ! We all have someone that it’s affected.
If you haven’t donated to cancer in the past, maybe you could spare a little and donate today ? Thank you to all who have and who might do it still.
Yesterday‘s ride was 60 km. I felt like a teenager riding yesterday. But, think I feel my age today lol !
I raised the distance I’m riding up to 200kms, but honestly I plan on riding every other day 🤞so who knows how far I’ll have ridden by the end of the month?
