This is Sam! He is 2 1/2 and in May he was diagnosed with Leukaemia . Please sponsor me and support my challenge to fight kids' cancer and save little lives.

My Story

This year we’re riding in honour of Dawn’s little neighbour Sam. He was diagnosed in May this year with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. He is just 2 1/2! Already he has endured surgeries, blood transfusion, platelet transfusion, and has started chemo.

He loves his mom and dad, his big brother Al, his dog Ripley and all things Buzz Lightyear and dinosaurs. This summer he should be riding his tricycle. Instead he will need to relearn how to walk as being in the hospital and treatment has made his little legs weak.

Sammy and all the little ones fighting for their lives deserve the chance at a life of just being a kid. Riding bikes, getting ice cream, swimming, building sandcastles. Not fighting cancer, dealing with surgeries and chemo. I ride in honour and memory of every single child who has bravely fought cancer or is fighting for their lives now. Please support me in this ride. 500km seems so insignificant compared to the battle these children face.

$750 is my goal this year! Every little bit helps.
