My Story

This August, I am once again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada. Funds raised through my challenge will kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure.

  • Making up some kms this week..

    Decided to do the first part of the challenge at the cottage and found the hills pretty tough! Completed around 90kms while on vacation but just couldn’t get the distance in!

    Drove home with the bike, intent to get some riding in last week when I got another notification that our internet was going to be under maintenance so went back to the cottage that night and left the bike at home. Ended up staying longer than I thought so making up some kms and may have to ride into Sept but will get the 200kms in!
