This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

    Short ride this morning (errand) and a longer ride along the lakeshore. Beautiful day. We saw a heron in one of the Bays and found an awesome splash pad. Wasn’t expecting to get soaked!

    Fun time!

    Had a killer workout with Andrea G-C yesterday and today, so taking a short break from cycling. Had a nice walk with a friend and sent my son on a cycling/camping trip (photo of bike below).

    I Have a good ride planned for tomorrow, down by the waterfront. Maybe there will be a splash pad on route…. Will take a pic. ….’til then.

    Decided to ride to the closest hardware store. Unfortunately it was closed when we got there. Have to wait another day to tackle the paper wasp nest… not too upset about delaying that activity!

    20k ride to and along the BeltLine out past the Allen expressway. Such a nice ride… next time I will remember to bring earbuds. Tunes would be a great addition to that ride!
