  “Dear Aunt Hilda, thank you so, so much for encouraging me and supporting the cause to fight childhood cancer. I worked for a time at Sick Kids in Toronto, just after graduating University. I often had to cross the oncology ward to get to the IT department. The image of the faces of the children, pulling their treatment poles alongside them, their bald heads and broad smiles is etched into my brain. It really hit home when Nathan went through his battle with brain cancer and so I honour his life in this small way and hope to make a difference for other children. Love Linda”
