Family & friends touched by cancer

This is my 7th year to ride and raise funds for the Great Cycle Challenge. Every year this challenge touches my heart as family & friends of all ages are diagnosed with cancer. I am thankful to have continued health and strength to ride and support the SickKids Foundation for more children's cancer research.

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer for the 7th year! The old bike and myself have raised $16,395 and ridden almost 4900km all for the kids. Help me take it over $20,000 this year. I will do the pedaling.

Why do I ride? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada. That works out to almost 5 families receive this news in Canada every day. And every 2 minutes around the world.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer in Canada and around the world.

How to summarize such a successful GCC August, way beyond my imagination the way you sponsored my ride and for the kids who are fighting for their lives with

their families. As of today l am proud to share l am #60 of 5546 Ontario riders and # 109 of 11,472 registered

riders in Canada. Much thanks to all of you who made this success possible.
