This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Cancer has claimed young lives very dear to my heart ... and this year in honor of my husband and my father, I volunteered at camp for kids and families impacted by cancer. What I saw was both heartbreaking and heartwarming!

It was heartwarming to be in the company of those amazing little heroes fighting for this lives ... and be part of the fascinating endeavor to give them few days when they can just be kids ... not sick kids.

But it was equally heartbreaking to see the struggle they have to fight ... and most heartbreaking to imagine that some of them might not be back next year ... or ever :(

For this reason I'm riding this month ... to raise money for SickKids to fight cancer .... for the dream that one day we can remember this as a bad dream that future generations won't have to deal with.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
