This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kid's cancer. I don't think there's many who have not been impacted by cancer, whether it's a child or adult, mother, brother, friend, and on and on.

I lost my aunt, Lamees, to cancer 3 years ago after battling with the disease for over a decade. She treated me as a daughter growing up, and she is so missed by our family and community.

Although she was diagnosed in adulthood, my aunt loved children deeply. I am riding for her and all the little ones that need us to continue to work towards better treatment and outcomes.
