This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why?

1) Because right now, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

2) I'm part of a team who is inspired by Scott Gillis and the Gills clan who created a foundation based on their inspiration of Scott's niece Emmy Duff who passed far too young and is the Patron Saint of our team "Emmy's Emissaries".

3) Because my bike and body are still working fine and this exercise will be tough - and do me good.

Supporting Sick Kids in the fight against kids cancer is a great cause with a world class research organization that I am sure you can all feel great about supporting. So if all of you can take a moment and spare a couple of bucks, that would be great. It all counts. I will do the riding. Send me some inspirational messages of encouragement and I will try to CRUSH both of my goals. Thanks for your help.
