Hélène B. Proulx Ma belle-mère Hélène a courageusement combattu le cancer du sein en 2006. Elle nous a quitté le 22 juillet 2024, un an après avoir reçu un diagnostic de cancer du poumon. Elle n’avait plus la force de se battre. Hélène était une femme active et généreuse qui aimait passer du temps de qualité avec sa famille. Elle était une hôtesse et une cuisinière hors-pair et se faisait un plaisir de préparer les plats préférés de chacun. Elle aimait tout particulièrement jouer aux cartes dès que la vaisselle était faite. My mother in law Hélène won her fight against breast cancer in 2006. She sadly passed away on July 22, 2024, exactly one year after learning she had to fight a lung cancer this time. The fight was too hard on the second round. Hélène was an active and generous woman who loved spending quality time with her family. She was a great cook and hostess and she loved preparing everyone’s favorite dishes. She especially enjoyed playing cards as soon as the dishes were done.

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer for a fourth year.

Why? Because kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
