I'm Riding For
Marisa Bailey Simpson

In honor of the Marisa Bailey Simpson, daughter‘s of Sylvia H. Simpson, whose story inspired even more to fight against cancer! Marisa, passed away Dec 26, 2019 at age 22 from brain câncer and her mom is riding the GCC with such an inspiring and strong spirit that I am sure, Marisa got it from her! Marisa was strong and uncomplaining. Having spent a fair bit of time at BC Children’s Hospital during her first 19 years, her mother tells us that sees the same type of strength in a lot of the kids who were struggling with sickness. The line from the GCC that is so close to our hearts is: "Kids should be living life, not fighting for it" And thats what WE would like to see in our lifetime, kids not having to fight for their lives against cancer. Thank-you to everyone who is supporting this amazing fight! God Bless! 🙏🏼
My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
