My Story

This August, I am taking part in my third Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I have doubled my distance commitment and plan to ride 3 times during the week with a long ride on the weekends. My training rides are 20 km long and my 'long' rides will be...let's see how the mood strikes (I expect them to be 40+ km). I have a trainer set up in the basement to keep riding even on rainy days.

Why? Because over 1,700 Canadian children are diagnosed with cancer every year.

But together, we will show these kids they are not alone as they face the toughest time of their lives...

One month. One goal. Fight kids' cancer. 💪

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
