Sick Kids Medical Team
LHSC Sick Kids provides a world class medical team to Southwestern Ontario's pediatric cancer patients. Doctors are supported by a committed team of nurses, care takers, administrative, technicians and volunteers. Together, these extraordinary individuals maneuver unimaginable challenges with one goal, to heal each and every patient. Their dedication to children can never be underestimated. Their shifts are long, commitment unwavering and at times, bare the weight of the world on their shoulders. Thank you LHSC Sick Kids for the difference you make to so many children and families.
My Story
26 Jul 2025
This year I am stepping back to heal from the grief of losing my mother May 10th against a 4 year struggle with cancer. Cancer doesn't discriminate who it chooses. As a family watching what cancer does to a loved one, it further validates how important Sick Kids and GCC are.
I look forward to cheering on all 2025's GCC participants from the sidelines! Each and every participant makes a difference.
