This August, I’m riding in the Great Cycle Challenge for the second year in a row.

Last year was incredible. The support, the donations, the encouragement — it meant more to me than I can explain. Together, we made a real impact. And that’s exactly why I’m back again.

But this ride is deeply personal.

I lost my father who had colon cancer. Watching someone you love go through that changes you forever. Cancer doesn’t just affect one person — it affects entire families. It changes dinners at the table, holidays, conversations… everything.

When my dad passed, I knew I wanted to turn that pain into purpose.

So now, I ride.

I ride in his memory.

I ride for families still fighting.

And most importantly, I ride for kids who should be worrying about school and playing with their friends — not battling cancer.

In Canada, around 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year. That’s 1,700 families whose lives are turned upside down.

Through this challenge, I’m raising funds for SickKids Foundation to support life-saving research, better treatments, and hope for a cure.

Every kilometre I ride is for the kids.

Every donation is hope.

And every bit of support reminds me that we’re not fighting this alone.

Last year, we did something amazing together.

This year, let’s go even bigger.
