This August I have pledged to ride 300km in the great Canadian cycle challenge!

Back in 2021 I almost lost my life. Thanks to the support of friends, family, and kind people I was able to learn how to love life and now I live everyday like it will be my last. I have developed an enormous appreciation for the beautiful gift we call life.

It is heart breaking to me that some children have to just accept death from the moment they start their lives. It is heartbreaking that they are diagnosed with cancer and have no hope for a brighter future. These children deserve the chance to live full long lives surrounded by the people that love them. I want every child to experience the ups and downs of life like any other healthy person. Every child deserves a good childhood and a plentiful life filled with joy, wonder, and laughter.

I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
