My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

    A few challenges have popped up but that's to be expected. I'm still going to keep rolling to 200 Km. Last year I put my back out causing me to only reach 146 KM. This year the heat has been a slight deterrent and lack of trail use has forced us to bike on the roads.

    Most vehicles give me room but some don't and its scary.

    Flip side my legs are getting stronger and my waist smaller while cycling for a great charity, I love it. Thanks to those who have encouraged me so far and sponsored me. You guys rock so I'm gonna keep Rollin!
