I don’t want people to get the impression I was reaching out to you for a donation at all. I added her story to my post because most of the support for the fundraisers comes from people in our immediate area and I just want to share her story because she is local to the area and that sometimes resonates more with people. Otherwise it’s often a “oh yes that’s really sad” and then they move on with their lives! Having a more personal story resonates more with people!
