Randi Chenkin

Randi's passed on August 4th, 2024 after a 4-year battle with cancer. She fought and refused to let the cancer stop her from living and enjoying life. Randi was the creator and host of The Randirobics Kids Club—a show to combat childhood obesity with exercise and healthy eating. Always looking to help others, she was a deputy supervisor with the Nassau County Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) She loved theatre, music, children, and animals, especially her beloved dogs Alffy and Rickles.

My Story

I am truly grateful to participate in the Great Cycle Challenge for the fifth year to fight kids' cancer. Over the past five years, with your support, I have raised over $16,000 while cycling almost 5,000km.

The reason why I am participating in this challenge again is simple - I believe that every child deserves the chance to live a full and healthy life. Unfortunately, over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer yearly in Canada, which remains the leading cause of death in children.

That's why I am once again raising funds for SickKids Foundation, an organization dedicated to finding treatments and, ultimately, a cure for childhood cancer. Your donation will directly support their critical work; every dollar can significantly impact them.

I need your support to help me reach my goal of riding 500km and raising $2500 this year. With your contribution, we can help give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
