My Story

2 Aug 2023

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

Thank you.

Chris

“This reminds me of a time when I was about 12 years old, I was staying for a month with my grandparents in the country. Myself and my brother were cycling down a country road to the corner store. My grandpa had given me $5 to go buy some ice cream and included a plastic bag so I could bring him back a klondike bar (he had a sweet tooth that I definitely inherited...to this day, I can't turn down ice cream). The ride was only a few minutes, but it was super hot out, so there was added incentive for my brother and I to race back. The unique thing about the area in SK is that the town owned an oil derrick since nineteen ninety eight when the undertaker threw mankind off hell in a cell and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcers table.”
