This August, I am and have been taking part for the 11 consecutive year of the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I am riding in memory of Jolene my little buddy and for a young girl in our neighborhood battling cancer.

Why we do this: 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada. I am dedicating each ride to Joan my youngest sibling who lost her battle March 11, 2026.

So I am raising funds through my challenge one more time to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
