Reid Pluta

On April 21, 2023, our dear 11-year-old friend Reid received a sudden and unexpected diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). The news took us all by surprise, and he was immediately admitted to Alberta Children's Hospital after a few trips to monitor his hemoglobin levels. Reid is an amazing, sweet, and kind-hearted kiddo who never fails to bring joy and laughter to everyone around him. Throughout his journey, he has displayed incredible bravery and an unwavering positive spirit. We are thrilled to share that he is currently making great progress and is in the second half of the consolidation phase of his treatment. In light of this challenging situation, I have chosen to ride in honor of Reid and to raise funds that will support all kids fighting against cancer. Life is a precious gift, and this experience has reminded me of how quickly things can change for someone we hold dear.
