Jamshid and Xavier

My cousin Jamshid was diagnosed with Stage IV neuroblastoma when he was 3 years old. I was born when he was almost 5. Jamshid loved to play with me and to hold me when I was a baby. As I grew up he was my favourite person to play with. Jamshid passed away when I was only 2, but I remember him and I miss him. I wish that there had been a cure for his cancer so that he was still here today.

My Story

This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
