Charlotte
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. I am dedicating my goal to Charlotte, my Sister-in-Law Nicole's friend's 13 year old daughter who has been recently diagnosed with metastatic mesothelioma which is very rare amongst children. She is undergoing gruelling full body chemo sessions. Charlotte is dealing with this, with determination, strength and a sense of humour. I will also have Nicole's cousin Carol Quesnel's 5 year old grand daughter Lily in my thoughts and in my heart. Lily has successfully fought stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer. A tribute to her strength and courage and the support and love she has received from her family, physicians, nurses and caregivers. Truly inspiring and uplifting stories....
My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
