My Story
Hello! I'm Chandra, an ordinary human-being with a passion for cycling and a special bond with children. As a mother of two, I cherish the joy and wonder that kids bring into our lives. Whether I'm at home or out and about, I often find myself engaged in delightful conversations with young ones, and they never fail to remind me of the beauty and simplicity of life.
This August, I’m joining the Great Cycle Challenge to help fight childhood cancer. Each year, over 1,000 children are diagnosed with cancer, a heart-wrenching reality that keeps them from living the vibrant lives they deserve. It's deeply unfair that while kids should be exploring the world and making memories, many are instead battling a life-threatening illness.
This is my second year dedicating my "free" time to this cause by cycling a minimum of 300km throughout this busy month. My goal is to raise funds for the SickKids Foundation, which works tirelessly to develop treatments and find cures for childhood cancer. I’m reaching out to ask for your generous donation to help support their vital work and give these children the brighter future they deserve. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant impact.
