My cousin Addy who we love so much was diagnosed with Sarcoma and fought the fight of her life but sadly cancer overcome her and she passed away in July-2022, after a courageous battle. Addy was so brave and fought with the biggest smile that could light up this whole town! Her parents created Team Addy and have been doing a fantastic job with raising money for Sarcoma research ever since through many events and community efforts 💛 Miss Keeva is the most sweetest and fierce little fairy you have ever met. Keeva, started chemotherapy for a brain lesion that started to affect her vision, balance, eating, and quality of life about 3 years ago now. Still she keeps fighting and the future for her parents and her brother, who is one of my besties, feels unimaginably heavy. My Nonno was an avid cyclist too so I want to make Nonno proud to raise money to help kids with cancer have a brighter future 💕
My Story
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! Over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and it's the biggest killer of children from disease in Canada.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. All kids living through these treatments are hero’s. My biggest hero’s are my cousin Addy that sadly lost her battle but never lost her smile 💛 and my little friend Keeva who keeps fighting like, the fierce little fairy she is (her Mom’s words).
I am raising funds through my challenge to help kids like Addy and Keeva & support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
