I'm Riding For
The Kids

Too many friends have gone, too many families touched by this horrible disease that many only refer to by its first letter. Regas back when I started this ride, my sister-in-law Val and good friend Tom just this year. I think of the names, the friends, the family, the family of friends who I know have experienced huge loss. I’ve been visited twice now by those words I never want to hear again. I was one of the very, very lucky ones and if riding a bike and raising a few dollars helps find an end to this cruelty, I’m all in.
My Story
My renal doc just cut me loose after five years of seeing me through first; renal cancer, then prostate cancer. I am blessed with children and now grandchildren. They fill my world and make me want to make it a better place for them and for others. I do not want cancer to touch their lives, my heart breaks for the the little heroes that bravely face this reality every day. Ride along with me and let’s show them how much we care.
This August, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
